Slim Smart Sensor Trash Bin FAQ (IPX1204)

Q1:How does the automatic opening and closing work?
A1:
The induction area of the trash bin is located at the top and front. When an object is detected in the induction area (either above or directly in front), the lid will automatically open. If the induction area is facing a wall or other objects, it may trigger the lid to open unexpectedly. To avoid this, try repositioning the trash bin so that the induction area faces an open space.
Q2: After receiving the trash bin, it doesn't open when powered on.
A2:
Check the plastic film: Ensure that the plastic film on the top of the lid has been removed. The plastic film may cause the lid to stick and prevent it from opening properly.
Check the power status: Make sure the trash bin is fully charged. Low battery power can affect the induction function.
  •  For battery-operated models, install brand-new alkaline AA batteries and ensure the correct polarity (+/-).
  • For rechargeable models, use a charger with an output of 5V/1A and the included charging cable to charge the trash bin.
Q3: After using the trash bin for a while, the induction is not as sensitive.
A3:
Check if the trash bin is fully charged. Low battery power can affect the sensitivity of the induction function. Ensure the trash bin is charged or replace the batteries if necessary.
Q4: How can I tell if the trash bin's battery is low?
A4:
  • The induction may become less sensitive.
  • The lid may not open or close completely. If you notice these issues, it is likely that the battery is low and needs to be charged or replaced.
